Novartis Pharma Logistics recalls certain over-the-counter products in Barbados

Novartis Pharma Logistics is recalling select lots of certain over-the-counter products such as Triaminic syrups, Theraflu Warming Relief syrups, Jack & Jill brand pediatric syrups and Buckley's complete liquids in Barbados.

The company has voluntarily issued the recall to consumers, retail customers and wholesalers due to bottle closure defect.

The recalled products were produced at a Novartis Consumer Health manufacturing facility in the US before the termination of operations in December 2011.

Additionally, Buckley’s Complete was even manufactured at a third-party Canadian site until January 2013.

Novartis Consumer Health in the US received four adverse events for Triaminic Syrups related to tamper apparent seal causing a failure of the child resistant cap.
