news.Otsuka Pharmaceutical has said that it will initiate a phased launch of its Soyjoy nutritional food product in four European countries, namely, France, Belgium, Italy and Spain.

The product will be launched starting in February 2011 through its subsidiary Nutrition & Sante SAS (N&S).
Soyjoy, a fruit soy bar made from soy flour, is based on the company’s Soylution concept, and is aimed to provide a solution to the health, nutrition issues in the future.
With the addition of four new countries in Europe, Soyjoy will soon be sold in 11 countries and regions.
In Europe, Soyjoy will be sold in seven varieties, including strawberry and blueberry.
For the Otsuka Group, which has two core pharmaceutical and nutraceutical businesses, the launch of Soyjoy in European countries will be an important step in its globalisation efforts.
