PCAS Initiates Kilolab In US

PCAS has declared that it is planing to set up a Kilolab in California, US, aimed at small scale synthesis market. By establishing early relationships, the company expects to benefit large scale operations, reported in-Pharma Technologist.

The cGMP facility in Santa Rosa has been the primary focus for the coalition between PCAS and Nanosys. Earlier, the business devoid of a facility that hampered the development of the business in the US.

In talks with in-Pharma Technologist, Joseph Tessier, vice president of PCAS America stated that local facilities for small-scale production are preferred by US clients. PCAS can now meet this demand as the facility is in California and is suited to capture the biotech market.

Operations at the new facility have reportedly begun.
