news.PharmStar Pharmaceuticals has signed an agreement to acquire a 24,000sqft manufacturing facility established in pharmaceutical industrial park in Wilson, NC.

PharmStar Pharma is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of Aquaprin, an FDA-approved over-the-counter (OTC) liquid derivative of aspirin based on a patent-pending formula.
The company has put together an investigation team to set the feasibility of moving to Wilson, and had entered negotiations to produce an equitable agreement as of last week.
PharmStar CEO Howard Phykitt said he is very pleased with the speed in which they were able to reach this agreement, which was due to careful planning by the evaluation team.
"We believe this move can facilitate getting Aquaprin to market more quickly," Phykitt said.
