The agreement is said to provide Charles River’s clients with services including GMP-compliant protein analytics, detailed protein characterization and lot release testing.
Through the partnership, the companies can offer analytical experience and enhanced services through a single point of contact, resulting in improved project work and study design.
Protagen CEO Stefan Müllner said the Charles River’s expertise in the area of certified bioservices will complement the experience and competences of their company in biotherapeutics and biosimilars.
"The customers in the pharmaceutical and biotech sector will profit from this alliance through the direct access to a comprehensive service portfolio," added.
