Quinnova has launched Salvax Duo, which contains one unit of Salvax Foam and one unit of Hydro 40 Foam.
Salvax Duo is available by prescription only, and both Salvax Foam and Hydro 40 Foam are indicated for hyperkeratotic conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, xerosis, ichthyosis, eczema, keratosis, keratoderma and dry, rough skin, as well as corns and calluses.
Additionally, both products use Quinnova’s patented Proderm Technology, a water-lipid based formulation that has anti-inflammatory, skin repair and protective properties.
The water-lipid nature of the Proderm Technology allows for the ingredients to be rapidly absorbed and incorporated into the outer layers of the skin.
Moreover, the Proderm Technology is non-comedogenic and provides ease of application, as it is non-greasy and spreads easily and therefore well tolerated by patients, said the company.
