The screening panels allow researchers to simultaneously examine key genes that are associated with X-chromosome disorders and syndromic forms of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The RainDance ASDSeq and XSeq panels utilises the company’s microdroplet-based targeted sequencing technology.
Emory Genetics Laboratory senior director Madhuri Hegde said the RainDance panels allow them to focus on the specific genetic mutations that contribute to autism and other X-linked disorders.
