news.Recipharm, a contract development and manufacturing organisation, has signed a development and manufacturing deal with Astimex Pharma.

As per the contract, Recipharm will conduct the formulation development work at the Recipharm Pharmaceutical Development site in Solna, near Stockholm.
Astimex Pharma even has the chance to select Recipharm as the future manufacturer for the product.
Recipharm Pharmaceutical Development general manager Maria Lundberg said, "I am convinced that this is the start of a long-term collaboration that will prove beneficial for both companies and we are pleased that Astimex Pharma have chosen to utilise the expertise and flexible development capabilities that our staff and facilities are able to provide."
In addition, Astimex is in discussions with Recipharm regarding other manufacturing and development contractual projects.
Astimex general manager ASA Lintzen said Recipharm possess a recognized partnership approach integrated with its advanced and adaptable capabilities.
"Moreover, we were looking for a CDMO that we could build a long term relationship with and consequently we are already exploring the scope for working with Recipharm on other projects," Lintzen added.
