The facilities will be set up in Obninsk, in Kaluga Oblas and the production is likely to begin in late 2013.
The manufacturing process will include entire cycle of drug production and will follow GMP principles.
Nearmedic will be involved in the production of Kagocel, an OTC antiviral drug.
Kagocel is a plant-based gossypol molecule with a nanosized polymer, which prolongs the drug’s pharmacological activity and avoids toxicity.
