news.Semler Research Centre (SRC), a contract research organisation and subsidiary of Semler Group, has appointed Krathish Bopanna as president and executive director. Dr Bopanna will be responsible for the overall performance of SRC in India and US across its diverse business segments.

Dr Bopanna will primarily be based in Bangalore, India, and he will also have an office at the Corporate HQ in North Hollywood, CA, USA.
Prior to joining SRC, Dr Bopanna was with Manipal Acunova as the senior vice president of clinical development. With over 15 year’s pharmaceutical experience, Dr Bopanna has served leading positions in companies like Astra Zeneca and Tata Consulting Services.
Ronald Semler, chairman of SRC, said: “We look forward to Dr Bopanna shaping his vision for SRC aimed at positioning the company amongst the top players in the industry.
