Serina receives US patent for polymer drug delivery technology

Serina Therapeutics has received a new US patent no 7,943,141 for its polymer drug delivery technology from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The new patent entitled ‘Polyoxazoline and compositions comprising the same,’ covers the synthesis and composition of polyoxazolines for the delivery of different drug molecules.

Serina chief scientific officer and co-founder Michael Bentley said this patent award validates their invention and design of a novel drug delivery platform and allows Serina the opportunity to advance some of its proprietary ideas towards full development and eventually commercialization.

Serina is a pharmaceutical company that develops novel polymer therapeutics based on its proprietary polyoxazoline (POZ) technology platforms.
