SIRO Clinpharm, a global clinical research organizations (CRO), offers full scope services, conducting clinical trials in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices sectors.
The company has offices in India, US, Israel and in Europe in Germany, Czech Republic, Greece, Estonia, Romania, Spain and France.
Earlier in 2010, SIRO had entered into strategic alliances with CROs in South Korea and Taiwan.
Asia Clinical Operations vice president Rajendra Talele said Malaysia is a developed and growing clinical trials destination and they are extremely proud to be India headquartered CROs to announce its operations.
SIRO CEO Chetan Tamhankar said this expansion in Asia gives them an opportunity to immediately offer an additional geography to conduct clinical trials to their existing as well as potential clients.
"From a futuristic expansion perspective, they are in the process of evaluating Philippines and Thailand among other Asian countries for clinical operations," Tamhankar said.
