news.SourceSolution has launched a client portal Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product PlanIt. The product allows contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and contract research organizations (CROs) to securely exchange data, documents and project information with their clients through a portal that can be accessed via their company website.

SourceSolution offers PlanIt as a SaaS product allowing CMOs and CROs to brand the system and to integrate login access on their company website. Implementation, storage and maintenance are included in the software license, thereby eliminating the need for additional server space or IT resources.
John Cox, director of marketing and technical operations of SourceSolution, said: Most CMOs/CROs use open networks, such as corporate email, for the exchange of sensitive client project information. Until recently, the only alternatives were cost prohibitive for most organizations. SourceSolution’s PlanIt software offers all companies a cost-effective and secure way for CMOs and CROs to collaborate with their clients.
