SRS obtains government certification for EHR

SRS has obtained modular certification by the Drummond Group, an Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ATCB) of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for its EHR.

The company said that with the completion of the certification process the providers will be able to use its EHR to successfully demonstrate meaningful use and qualify for the EHR incentives offered under ARRA.

SRSsoft CEO Evan Steele said this acknowledgment by Drummond Group represents a major milestone in our progress toward certification as a complete EHR, which will allow their physicians to successfully pursue the full EHR incentives.

"SRS has cracked the code on productivity-focused meaningful use. Our approach to data collection and reporting is unique in the EHR industry, enabling physicians to satisfy the meaningful use measures in a highly efficient manner, while simultaneously increasing productivity practice-wide," Steele said.
