Stempeutics Research, an Indian company, plans to introduce stem cell products, used to treat degenerative joint disease and obstruction of arteries in limbs, by 2014.

According to the company, the products are likely to complete their phase III trials by early 2014, facilitating the launch, news.in.msn.com reports.
The Phase II trials are expected to conclude by end of 2012.
Stempeutics Research CEO B N Manohar said that pharmaceutical company, Cipla which has a tie up with Stempeutics, will launch their products.
"They help us in the development of the products and they get the marketing rights for the products being manufactured," Manohar added.
