Initially the focus will be on five of BMI’s 56 hospitals – London, Central Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and Harrogate. SurgiCare said that it plans to add further hospitals as soon as practically possible, giving its patients access to a much greater number of hospitals than any other cosmetic surgery company in the UK.
Mark Bury, CEO of SurgiCare, said: This is excellent news and is a crucial move for us. It is our intention to use this agreement to create a leading position in the UK cosmetic surgery market. BMI’s hospitals are second to none, meaning we will be able to offer our patients even better facilities and locations, giving us much greater flexibility and opportunity to grow.
We believe our patients’ experience, from first consultation right through to aftercare, is the best in the UK and now our patients will also be able to access the best private hospital facilities. It has always been our mission to achieve excellence through specialization in cosmetic surgery and now we will have the facilities to support this.
