Swish, Enviro-Solutions To Launch SDC-Based Disinfectants In Canada, US

PURE Bioscience has entred into an agreement with Charlotte Products, whereby Charlotte Products will blend and package PURE’s patented silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC)-based hard surface disinfectant, which will be distributed in Canada and the US through Swish Maintenance, Swish (US) and Enviro-Solutions.

Swish Maintenance will distribute the SDC-based disinfectant under the brand Swish Silver Supreme in Canada, and Swish (US) will also distribute that product in the US. In addition, Enviro-Solutions will market the product as ES360 Full Circle Silver Disinfectant in the US.

Michael Krall, president and CEO of PURE Bioscience, said: “Health Canada’s rigorous process for approving the safety, efficacy and quality of disinfectants can take more than two years, and we appreciate the work and investment by Charlotte Products to obtain a DIN for its SDC-based disinfectant so it may now be sold in Canada by Swish Maintenance. We look forward to Swish’s launch in Canada in early 2010 as well as launches by Swish (USA) and Enviro-Solutions following completion of US state registrations for Swish Silver Supreme and ES360 Full Circle Silver Disinfectant.”
