Swisher Hygiene buys Prinova

Prinova provides specialty chemicals and service programs to the food and hospitality industries, including ware washing and laundry services in the Northern and Central California area.

Swisher Hygiene has agreed to pay $525,000, assume certain liabilities and issue up to 35,003 shares of common stock, subject to certain restrictions and conditions, including customary deliveries required by the Toronto Stock Exchange.

As part of the transaction, one of the owners of Prinova – Doug Merkel will join Swisher Hygiene.

Swisher Hygiene offers cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, foodservice and laundry products, restroom hygiene programs and a range of related products and services.

Swisher Hygiene’s customers include a range of commercial enterprises, with an emphasis on the foodservice, hospitality, retail, industrial and healthcare industries.
