Synexus Enrolls Patients For Hypertension Study

Total 3,273 patients recruited worldwide at over 87 sites

Synexus has recruited the highest number of patients for a major global study. The company has recruited 1,221 patients at seven UK sites, averaging 174 patients per site, for a hypertension study. A total of 3,273 patients were recruited worldwide at around 87 sites.

Neil Poulter, Chairperson of Preventive Cardiovascular Medicine at Imperial College, and In-charge of the hypertension study, said: “Working with Synexus has made a genuine difference to the cost effectiveness of the overall trial because of the speed with which we were able to recruit into the study.

The proactive patient recruitment procedures Synexus use, together with their dedicated teams, streamlined so much of what can often be a laborious and ineffective process, he added.
