Umicore Signs Agreement With Silicycle

Umicore and SiliCycle have entered into an exclusive sales representation agreement, under which SiliCycle will commercialize Umicore’ metalbased homogenous catalysts in the North American Life Science Industry.

The partnership allows the customers of North American Life Science to access Umicore’ homogenous catalyst technologies through SiliCycle’ sales network.

In addition, SiliCycle’ customers have now access to Umicore’ complementary catalysts for chiral chemistry, metathesis applications for C-X coupling reactions and many more applications, the company said.

Through this agreement, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, agrochemical, flavor and fragrance industries would have access to the industrial scale manufacturing expertise of the two companies.
