news.Unilife, a US based developer of drug delivery systems, has started supplying Unifill ready-to-fill syringe to an undisclosed US based pharma firm.

The Unifill ready-to-fill (prefilled) syringe is a primary drug container with passive safety features fully integrated within the glass barrel.
With Unifill syringe, the undisclosed pharma firm is expected to do drug compatibility and stability tests with its injectable drugs in conjunction with Unifill as per standard industry practices for drug-device combination products.
Unilife CEO Alan Shortall said they expect to continue supplying the Unifill syringe to this customer over the coming months to support their drug compatibility and stability tests with a number of target molecules.
"We look forward to entering into agreements with a number of additional pharmaceutical partners over the coming months," Shortall said.
