The Vector TFC Roll Compactor is a versatile densification and dry granulation machine that produces uniform compacted sheets with consistent hardness and increased density by compacting powdered material between two designed rolls.
Xcelience said that TFC-220 is a natural transition for scale-up to the GMP Manufacturing area and significantly expands their processing capacity for dry granulation.
The company claims that TFC-220 is capable of processing blends at a rate of up to 20kg/hour.
Xcelience Operations director Ted Koontz said that taking a cross-functional approach to dry granulation ensures effective technical transfer and supports improved manufacturing outcomes.
