Youngevity Essential Life Sciences, a subsidiary of AL International, has entered into an agreement to commence a series of clinical research studies at the Clemson University's Institute of Nutraceutical Research.

The placebo-controlled, validation research studies will evaluate potential effects of Youngevity products including 90 Essential Nutrients blend on human inflammation, bacterial, and disease management biomarkers.
Youngevity CEO Steve Wallach said the company is looking forward to work with Chittaranjan Kole, research director, at the Clemson University to perform clinical research studies, which will allow to study potential links between its products and various biomarkers.
The company said Clemson University studies, which will immediately begin studies, will conclude the study results by the end of 2012.
