AMBERLITE™ and DUOLITE™ are powdered ion exchange resins used as active pharmaceutical ingredients and formulation excipients. Dow ion exchange resins have a broad range of applications, including taste masking, tablet disintegration, modified release, and the formulation of poorly soluble or unstable drug compounds. Proven to be safe and effective excipients, they are currently found in many commercial drug formulations used throughout the world. AMBERLITE™ and DUOLITE™ Resins can be used for different types of oral dosage forms (liquids such as suspensions, solids such as tablets, capsules or orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs)).
