F2H® Assay

Detect and visualize reversible protein interactions and screen for their inhibitors in live mammalian cells.

Based on immobilization of a fluorescently labeled bait protein to a defined anchoring spot in the cell nucleus, the assay offers a straightforward read out by highlighting the PPI as co-localization of two fluorescent signals at the anchoring spot.

The assay has been verified with over 50 individual PPIs from different cellular compartments. With our F2H-Assay we are able to identify specific compounds, which can penetrate into the cell and abrogate the desired interactions. We can gain additional real time kinetic or toxicological data of selected drugs and molecules.
