Gold standard protein stability analysis for the regulated environment
MicroCal PEAQ-DSC microcalorimeters are powerful tools which enable characterization of the thermal stability of proteins and other biomolecules, primarily for biopharmaceutical development and manufacture. They are used for general stability studies, for biosimilarity and batch-to-batch comparability assessment, and for the optimization of purification and manufacturing conditions.
MicroCal PEAQ-DSC systems are simple to use, requiring little assay development, and no labelling or immobilization.
There are two MicroCal PEAQ-DSC Differential Scanning Calorimetry instruments available, both of which are designed for use in the regulated biopharmaceutical environment. The MicroCal PEAQ-DSC Automated system has an autosampler for hands-free operation, easing the workload of screening large numbers of samples. The MicroCal PEAQDSC is a manual instrument, which offers equal performance, reproducibility and minimal sample consumption, for laboratories which need to analyze fewer samples. Both instruments are operated by MicroCal PEAQ-DSC software, containing the following four specialist modules:
