Monoclonal Antibody Generation

Bioceros generates novel monoclonal antibodies using the conventional immunisation in mice. Mouse monoclonal antibodies are easy to generate, are diverse and of high affinity, and easy to humanise.

In addition hybridomas, unlike binders isolated from a phage display library, secrete bivalent antibodies which allows selection in their therapeutic format. In addition, the technology is not encumbered by IP claims.

After selection of the lead hybridoma, the cDNA sequences coding for the VH and VL are determined and expressed on a human IgG constant region. Subsequent humanisation is performed by our partner for humanisation and various humanised versions of the antibody lead are tested in our functional potency assay.
