Preparative and Process Chromatography

TOYOPEARL® and TSKgel® resins are based on a semi rigid, hydrophilic, macroporous particle. Their rigid backbone has better pressure-flow properties than most other commercially made materials.

Therefore, higher linear operating velocities can be used for faster process throughput and decreased recycling times. TOYOPEARL resins are stable over the pH 2-12 range for normal operating conditions and pH 1-13 for cleaning conditions. They are available in average particle sizes of 35, 65, 75, and 100 µm for high resolution, intermediate purification, or capture chromatography. TOYOPEARL resins are also offered in many different pore diameters for size exclusion, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction, and affinity chromatography.TSKgel bulk resins for ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction chromatography are available in 20-30µm particle sizes.

The latest resin developments for downstream processing are the high capacity Protein A affinity resin TOYOPEARL AF-rProtein A-650F, developed to increase productivity in antibody purification, the TOYOPEARL GigaCap series of high capacity ion exchangers and the HIC-600 series providing optimum pore sizes for antibody purification.

Toyopearl resins are also available as ToyoScreen® process development columns for fast resin screening. They can be connected to most laboratory chromatography systems.
