Rescentris provides professional services to our customers that include customisation, developer training, integration, and workflow analysis. CERF is highly extensible and can be quickly adapted for use in any research environment and can be connected to many other systems.

Customisation:

CERF future-proofs your content and manages it in an open, extensible, system that is easily supported, configured, and customised by your IT staff or by Rescentris to meet the demands of R&D. CERF includes many advanced technologies such as semantic web technologies (e.g., OWL ontologies), regularly delivers substantial enhancements to the platform, and offers several additional customisation options. Our flexible architecture minimizes configuration and customisation costs.

Developer training:

Rescentris offers flexible training programmes tailored to the needs of your organisation. Along with extensive electronic documentation, most training is available by webcast. Additional user training sessions and workshops, as well as co-developed training, are available at Rescentris’ headquarters or at an offsite training location. CERF customer service representatives are also available to answer your questions.

Integration and workflow analysis:

Rescentris has the expertise and experience to understand your life-science R&D project. Our experienced analysts come from both commercial and academic backgrounds and can examine your operation, determine your research goals and evaluate your IT resources quickly and accurately. Based on our extensive knowledge of scientific workflows, and real-world feedback from other CERF users in many different sectors, we will make specific recommendations to help you use CERF to streamline your operations, integrate with existing systems, and connect everything in your organisation seamlessly. With CERF you can boost efficiency, reduce redundancy and catalyse scientific discovery.

Enterprise package:

Our Enterprise Package offers large organisations greater flexibility and more integration options than any other ELN on the market. The package essentially makes your IT department a full partner in the CERF development process. It includes access to advanced features such as LDAP authentication, your choice of database backend (our default install includes MySQL, and we now support MS SQL server, oracle and others), powerful add-ons such as scientific data viewer plugins, and our new automation client, which uploads data into CERF from any source as soon as it is created or on a set schedule. The Enterprise Package includes all professional services significantly discounted from their list price if purchased separately.
