Recombinant peptides and proteins

We offer production of recombinant peptides and proteins in our microbial fermenter facility in Kundl, Austria. The scales of production we provide include: 150L 1,300L, 3,000L, 13,000L and 40,000L.

Each fermentation unit is fully equipped with a corresponding downstream line, including state-of-the-art isolation, recovery and
purification techniques.

Mammalian cell culture

In the field of mammalian cell culture, Sandoz provides cGMP production of glycosylated proteins and antibodies for clinical and commercial use. This type of production takes place in facilities near Kufstein, Austria. The scales of manufacture available consist of: 3,000L, 13,000L and 2×13,000L.

Technology, development and scale-up

Sandoz offers aligned pilot plant facilities, operated by a customer-oriented team. Our team has extensive knowledge in technology transfer, development and scale-up processes for recombinant proteins and antibodies.

For earlier stage projects, a small scale production plant for the manufacture of clinical Phase I to Phase III material is also available.

Finished products

We provide a variety of facilities and technologies to manufacture clinical and commercial finished products. Sandoz’s facilities allow both lyophilisation of active substances and liquid filling into various product formats.

From process development to commercial scale manufacturing, all phases are supported by independent quality assurance, as well as a competent analytical team and regulatory specialists.
