news.LifeSync, a developer of patient safety and hospital productivity products, has received a multiyear contract for the sale of the LifeSync wireless ECG system which includes disposable ECG LeadWear products from MedAssets Supply Chain Systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on customized marketing promotions to MedAssets’s customers.
The LifeSync wireless ECG system offers patient safety and productivity solutions to hospitals. The system, which works in conjunction with a hospital’s installed patient monitoring equipment, untethers patients from lead wires, can increase the accuracy of patient alarms and can decrease the risk of hospital acquired infections, said LifeSync.
