news.UK-based biopharmaceutical product company Renovo Group has appointed David Blain as its new CFO and company secretary, effective February 1, 2009. This follows his interim appointment in August 2008.

Mr Blain operated his own consultancy prior to joining Renovo. Before that, he was finance director and company secretary at Drew Scientific Group and later finance director and company secretary at eg Solutions.
Mr Blain trained as a chartered accountant at WT Walton & Son before serving nine years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
