news.PerkinElmer, Inc (PerkinElmer) has signed contract with Intertek Group Plc (Intertek). Intertek selects PerkinElmer for the majority of its instrumentation requirements. According to the agreement, PerkinElmer's instrumentation will be considered at over 1000 Intertek sites worldwide. The agreement covers all PerkinElmer analytical instrumentation and related reagents.

The preferred vendor agreement will streamline the Intertek purchasing process for PerkinElmer products worldwide and is expected to be valued at several million dollars.
