Bristol-Myers Squibb Company has appointed Howard Feldman as its new vice president and therapeutic area head of global clinical research, neuroscience. Dr Feldman will report to Doug Manion, vice president of global clinical research, neuroscience and virology.

Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Dr Feldman served as professor and head of the division of neurology at University of British Columbia and Vancouver Coastal Health, Vancouver, Canada. Dr Feldman has received his medical degree from McGill University in 1978.
Brian Daniels, senior vice president of global development and medical affairs at Bristol-Myers, said: “I am pleased Howard has joined our R&D organization as we look to further build our robust pipeline in areas of significant unmet medical need in neuroscience.
