Pulse Systems introduces new version of patient relationship tool

Wichita, Kansas-based Pulse Systems has updated its Patient Relationship Management system in an effort to maximize patient flow efficiencies.

The company said the new product, dubbed PRM R11, includes its Practice Management and Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology.

The updated version was developed in response to physician requests and the company’s analysis of clinic workflow and implementation experience. It is designed to further streamline Pulse’s offerings to its clients and to add enhanced features and functionality.

According to the firm, the driving force incorporated into some of the enhancements is the development of push technology, which directs tasks to users based on role based rules as specified by a physician’s practice. The intention is to allow users to perform efficient clinical and account management tasks and to enable administrators to monitor staff performance.

PRM R11 includes features such as patient location management, automated coding services, real time electronic transactions, health maintenance management and e-prescribing. It also provides enhanced functionality to Pulse’s PulseMobile pocket PC wireless device.
