Virtify rolls out new clinical content management platform

Virtify has launched new software platform for building, reuse and tracking of clinical and regulatory content, dubbed as SCM, to improve pharma compliance, productivity, quality, while reduce risk and costs for the life science industry.

Leveraging an asset management approach, the new software improves cooperation and provides the automation of documents used throughout the drug product life cycle, from pre-clinical through product registration to commercialization.

Underling the importance of proper content management for pharma industry, Virtify president and CEO Satish Tadikonda said that inefficient management of clinical content can handicap the enterprise in the face of varying markets and regulatory needs.

"Virtify SCM evolves content management to a new level of ease and sophistication, delivering near-term risk reduction and cost savings with long-term improvements in operational efficiency," Tadikonda added.

Equipped with a safe, shared, web-based environment for managing regulated content through linked data components, SCM automates and tracks all information about a product, trial or objective at all stages of the development.

Creating a library of re-useable content, the platform uses organizational data across all operations, including R&D, submissions, labeling and marketing, thus helps in maximizing resources and producing more and better products in less time.
