Containing high concentration of the supplementary essential fatty acids EPA and DHA, the Omega-3 Unit Dose comes in a blister-format packaging and is pre-barcoded to help manage formulary needs at a patient’s bedside.
The company’s Omega-3 Unit Dose will provide a new method of packaging compared to the existing method of individually packaging Omega-3 products.
The various forms of SCI’s Omega-3 Unit Dose that are available include Omega-3 1050 mg Unit Dose (full sized softgel capsule), Omega-3 MiniCap, Omega-3 MiniCap + Vitamin D3 containing 1,000 IU of Vitamin D3.
The company’s Omega-3 unit dose products are offered to hospitals, eldercare communities, clinics, urgent care centers and other healthcare related facilities and they can be ordered through group purchasing organization (GPO) contracts.
