Manufactured according to appropriate good manufacturing practices (GMP) and stringent quality systems, STA-PURE polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) gasketing products maintain seals that are consistently reliable and meet the FDA requirements USP Class VI < 88 > biocompatibility.
The two new products include GORE STA-PURE pipe gasket style 1500, which offers low stress-to-seal with long-term sealing reliability, glass-lined steel and FRP systems and GORE STA-PURE sheet gasketing style 1200 provides exceptional resistance to creep and cold flow for reliable long-term sealing.
GORE STA-PURE gasket portfolio product specialist Joe Cintavey said, "Manufacturing these products according to appropriate GMPs using stringent quality systems has enabled Gore PharmBIO to deliver two attributes critical to these regulated industries: reliability and compliance."
The gasketing products can also be employed in the food and beverage processing industries.
