Finesse releases TruBio DV 4.5 bioreactor control software

California-based Finesse Solutions has released bioreactor control software TruBio DV version 4.5 that leverages its novel smartparts components.

Ranging from 0.5L bench-scale glass to 2,000L cGMP single-use production vessels, TruBio automates a wide variety of bioreactors.

Optimized for DeltaV 11.3, TruBio DV continued to be powered by DeltaV Controller from Emerson Process Management since its launching in 2007.

Finesse CEO Dr Barbara Paldus said, "TruBio DV software can be used with glass vessels, rockers, mixer, and most sizes/brands of single-use bioreactors to provide a seamless solution from R&D through production."

To leverage the new smartparts family of intelligent digital actuators, TruBio has been enhanced and pre-configured with new modules for high accuracy gas and liquid delivery into upstream bioprocesses.

Smartpump algorithms enable gravimetric pump dosing with scale feedback and smartMFC algorithms improve flow accuracy while minimizing energy consumption.

For data harmonization or more sophisticated control of older controllers with limited performance, TruBio also overlay on third party equipment.
