news.Automated pharmacy solutions manufacturer RxMedic Systems has signed a preferred business partner agreement with Rx Systems, a US-based pharmacy packaging and supplies firm.

Under the agreement, RxMedic will immediately become a distributor of Rx Systems’ Eyecon Countertop Counter, along with their existing line of advanced pharmacy automation systems.
The Eyecon is an automated pill counting system, which can work on a pharmacy countertop, and is an addition to RxMedic’s existing line of products such as end-of-counter and robotic pill counting and dispensing systems, pharmacy software, and robot technology.
RxMedic vice president David Williams said the firm’s agreement with Rx Systems opens up countertop technology as a viable option.
"The Eyecon is the best technology available in its price range, enabling more pharmacies to participate in best practices with their pharmacy management systems," Williams added.
