Takeda chooses Veeva customer relationship management, iRep solutions

US based Takeda Pharmaceuticals has chosen Veeva's cloud-based solutions, customer relationship management (CRM) and iRep for the Apple iPad.

Combining the needs of multiple commercial teams, Veeva’s CRM solution improves user adoption and sales effectiveness, while reduces cost and complexity.

iRep, a transformative sales effectiveness tool, combines Veeva CRM with closed loop marketing (CLM) in a single application to deliver a seamless user experience.

Built on a flexible, multitenant cloud-based platform, iRep requires no software to install, hardware to maintain or costly updates to deploy, claims Veeva.

Takeda Pharmaceuticals field sales vice president Glenn Weiglein said, "Our sales representatives need a tightly integrated system that supports team collaboration and enables better communication."

Takeda said it will roll out the new solutions to all its 1,800 field sales representatives and more than 200 managers in 2013.
