news.Accumetrics, a provider of diagnostic tests for rapid platelet function assessment, has appointed William Dippel as its new executive vice president of operations and R&D. Mr Dippel will oversee the operations, research and product development departments at Accumetrics.

Prior to joining Accumetrics, Mr Dippel was vice president of operations at Barrx Medical. Mr Dippel holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California.
