The practice staffs the level III neonatal intensive care unit at North Oaks Medical Center, which has annual patient volume in excess of 3,500 patient days.
Pediatrix has paid cash for the practice and expects that it will contribute to the company’s earnings immediately. No additional terms were disclosed.
