news.Virtual Radiologic, a provider of teleradiology services, has signed a multi-year agreement with VHA, a national health care alliance, to be the national single source preferred provider of teleradiology services for VHA's 1,429 community-based hospital members.

Amy Anthony, senior vice president of supply chain services at VHA, said: “VHA strongly believes that teleradiology is increasingly important to our member organizations. We engaged in a national search and found that Virtual Radiologic has a well-earned reputation for both quality of patient care and service excellence, which was substantiated by our members that currently use teleradiology.
“This new relationship supports our goal of providing high quality, cost effective healthcare options for our member organizations.”
