The agreement includes syringe pumps and ambulatory pumps, including the new CADD-Solis system. Previously, Smiths Medical had agreements in place with University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) of Oakbrook, Illinois. With this agreement, Smiths Medical expands the reach of its specialty infusion pumps to members of VHA (Irving, Texas) and Provista (Irving, Texas).
Stuart Morris-Hipkins, president of Smiths Medical, North America, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this agreement by Novation. This agreement will allow us to expand our reach to the other members of Novation’s consortium in addition to UHC, giving us the opportunity to demonstrate the value of our technology and safety features to VHA and Provista. We are looking forward to working with Novation and its alliance members.”
