Corindus, a developer and marketer of vascular robotic systems for percutaneous applications, has appointed David Handler as its new president and CEO.

Mr Handler will drive the continued development and subsequent commercialization of the company’s innovative vascular robotic system.
Before joining Corindus, Mr Handler spent more than 20 years at General Electric. Mr Handler holds a BA in economics from Union College, Schenectady, New York.
Peter Fitzgerald, medical director of Corindus, said: “I am looking forward to Mr Handler’s leadership in continuing to implement and expand the clinical vision for robotic technology to improve outcomes in vascular interventional medicine.”
