news.Antisoma, a biopharmaceutical company that develops products for the treatment of cancer, has appointed Eric Dodd as its new CFO with effect from November 3, 2008. He will join the Antisoma board as an executive director.

Mr Dodd was previously group finance director at Morse, a consulting, IT services and technology company. Before joining Morse in 2005, Mr Dodd held management positions at a number of companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, where he worked in the UK pharmaceuticals business.
Raymond Spencer, Antisoma’s current CFO, will become corporate development director and will remain on the board.
Barry Price, chairman of Antisoma, said: “Eric brings significant new experience to Antisoma as the company makes a transition towards involvement in selling its own products. We welcome him to the team.”
