Available in original and raspberry flavors, the chemical-free products are formulated with a proprietary strain of the probiotic yeast called Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Cepa Fr 1972 (nutritional or brewers’ yeast).
Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cepa Fr 1972 is known to promote healthy, efficient digestive and immune function as well as support the body’s ability to break down carbohydrates, proteins, and minerals.
Comprised of live probiotic cultures, Florax DS Diarrhea Relief product offers temporary relief from occasional diarrhea, bloating, cramping, and gas within four hours and bring the intestinal flora back in balance.
The probiotic drinks, which require no refrigeration, have a shelf life of 36 months.
The company said its gluten, soy and lactose-free strain of brewer’s yeast has been produced and sold in Brazil.
