BocaGreenMD to launch new line of prenatal multivitamins

BocaGreenMD, a subsidiary of TherapeuticsMD, will introduce a new line of prenatal multivitamins for pregnant mothers and women planning to become pregnant,on 6 November 2012 .

The new Prena1 line products including Prena1Plus, Prena1 and Prena1 Chew contain a combination of folic acid and plant-based DHA.

Prena1Plus, a single dose dietary supplement, contains one prenatal tablet with 16 vitamins and minerals, plus one softgel with 300 mg of plant-based DHA, while Prena1 is a single daily softgel containing14 vitamins, minerals and 200 mg of plant-based DHA.

The other single daily easy to chew product, Prena1 Chew, is offered in vanilla flavor and is designed for women planning a pregnancy and those with difficulty swallowing tablets or capsules, or where nausea or morning sickness makes taking tablets or capsules difficult.

BocaGreenMD chief marketing officer Jason Spitz said Prena1, Prena1 Plus, and Prena1 Chew will be available on 6 November 2012 by prescription only at chain, independent, and mail order pharmacies throughout the US.
