news.NPS Pharmaceuticals has sold its former headquarters as well as a manufacturing and laboratory facility in a bid to restructure and consolidate operations.

The company will receive approximately $4 million as a result of the sale of its Ontario facility, and approximately $21 million from the sale of its former Salt Lake City, Utah headquarters and associated equipment.
Transglobe Property Management Services is purchasing both facilities.
“These transactions are an important part of our restructuring program and reflect our focus on increasing the company’s operating flexibility and strengthening its financial position,” said Gerard Michel, chief financial officer of NPS.
